Taking a break from high fantasy and reading through something lighter. Going through the Kane Chronicles series right now - I'm on the second book (The Throne of Fire). Really easy read since it's a young adult series (and leans more juvenile than say, Harry Potter), and typical Rick Riordan - though I like his Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series better.
I've been reading on my train to work every morning (and sometimes on my way home). Working through the Bourne Identity right now. I'm enjoying it And reading lots of Batman comics at home as I prep for the new movie.
I'm three books ahead on my goal of 25 books this year (bumped it down since I'll be enrolled in classes year-round >_
Um, I'm not at 25 books, that's just my goal. I'm only at 12 books. :P A lot of books I've been reading are Young Adult so I get through them in a day or two tops. Otherwise, I just read before bed or I'll sit at the computer and switch between reading and web browsing or something. I dunno, I don't find it hard to make time for reading at all.
Right now I'm reading Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin. It's the fourth book in the series the Game of Thrones TV show is based on. Several of my friends have read it and didn't like it, but I really like it so far! It's just... really long and slowing me down on my GoodReads goal of 20 books ;_;
Trying to get my girlfriend to hurry and finish The Hunger Games so I can start reading them. We were supposed to see the movie when it came out, but neither of us have finished the book, so we don't wanna go see the movie. Haha.
Getting ready to start Divergent - taking it with me to school this week and hopefully I can get a jump start on it. The only time I'll really get to read is before bed though, but I'm hoping to at least get a few chapters in.
It's a YA book. XD It won't take long to read. (It only took me two days to read because I was high on painkillers while I read it! :P) It's pretty good though. I really enjoyed the first one.
Which young adult novel about teens fighting in a dystopian future should I read? Divergent or Hunger Games? Progressing through Bourne slowly because now I'm mostly reading only on the morning train. Internet surfing has been sneaking into my train in the evening. And at home, I'm still plowing through Batman comics in preparation for The Dark Knight Rises XD Really enjoying Bourne a lot though! I think I'll continue with that series. Almost done the first book
