I used to have a bunch of fish, which is kind of ironic since I'm terrified of fish. Had a few big pondfish and goldfish, and then I had many smaller ones like algae eaters, barbs and a few small sharks. Now they're all dead and I haven't had a pet fish for over a year.
At the moment I've got a dog and a rabbit. The dog is my 6/7 year old Jack Russel/Dalmation cross called Patch because he has a patch over his left eye x3 My rabbit is pretty ancient, he's about ten years old now and still as feisty as ever! He's pretty much blind though and always bites my fingers when I feed him because they smell like food xD He's called Pete btw after Peter Rabbit :3 Pets in the past I've had hamsters and a cat. My cat was called Adam and I had him when I was about 4 to when I was about 7-ish. However me being only young found him really boring and ended up giving him to the old woman across the street when we moved :3 We've had about four hamsters, the first three we'd bought and had died within two months xD The first one suffocated in its bed, the second got out and was eaten by the cat and the third ran away. However the fourth one, that was called Shawn, lasted about seven years which is pretty impressive for a hamster xD
I have two cats named Misty and Princess. Please don't judge me, they both came pre-named lol. I could enter into a long-winded description about their breeds and what they look like, but in reality show is always better than tell. And it's much harder to n'awwww over a description. So, here goes! Spoiler Misty - she has come to devour your soul. Spoiler Princess - she is cuteness per...catified. Spoiler Just chillin on the couch You may now commence talking about how much better my cats are than any pets you could ever have.
My future pet fox that will be ready for ownership in two months needs a name!!! SHE is the one sniffing the persons hand. =)) Spoiler
It's totally legal, depending on your state/province. Here in Indiana you have to purchase a permit. :P After you get that permit; though, you're good to go. ^___^; There's actually a fox breeder (.-. wut) in Indianapolis that breeds foxes for domestication. They're bread to have a more "loving" nature, but they've still got a bit of that wildness in them so you gotta be careful at first. Other than that, they're described as "loving and cuddly like a cat and playful like a dog".
I'm pet-less now, as of February 10, when Rusty died, though we're looking for a new dog. Hoping to have a puppy for Christmas.
