They've been taking online gaming by storm - multiplayer online battle arenas like League of Legends and Dota 2. Do we have any MOBA players here?
Not me. A lot of my friends in real life play games like League of Legends a lot, and I've tried it, but while it can be pretty fun, it can also be very stressful. I don't want to fall down that rabbit hole. Still wouldn't mind trying Dota 2, though. It's been sitting in my Steam library for like a year.
League of Legends! I play it regularly, about one or two games a day, if I do play. I haven't felt like playing in a little while, though, so not many games this past week. Geoff might tell you I'm addicted, and it's kind of true, but it used to be so much worse. Like, I would play 3-4 games a day despite only having time to really play one. I've toned it back, shuffled around some priorities, and shoved it closer to the background. I'm an Alistar support main. I don't do ranked very often, so I'm still in my placements where I'm 2-3. I was in Silver 2 last preseason, but my friends say that if I dedicate myself to ranked, I could make gold easily. Assuming I always get support, which if I don't, I struggle. I'm training up in normals before I play more ranked, and if anyone wants to add me on the NA servers, I'm known as Nolafus there as well.
