Another year is almost over, a new one just begun. I think a lot of people agree that 2012 has been a fairly lackluster year for gaming. Now that that's behind us, what game are you most looking forward to in 2013? Or what game would you most love to see announced for a 2013 release?
I almost feel bad for saying Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, haha. But it's definitely my #1 anticipated game for next year. For something with a release date, I guess I'm probably looking forward to Ni no Kuni the most, since I've wanted to play that for years but never got around to importing it. It comes out in... January, I believe? So I'm pretty excited. Also wanna play Tales of Xillia which I believe is slated for an English release next year, but I'm still not totally sold on that game so I can't say I'm that excited.
I'm most looking foward to Pikmin 3 which I think comes out in the Spring so I'll probably pick up a Wii U then too. Other games I'm excited about are Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and perhaps Sim City.
Erm... I can't really pick a specific game. Have a list of several games instead. - Uncharted Raider Tomb Raider - Kingdom Hearts I.5 HD ReMIX - Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII - Tales of Xillia - DmC: Devil May Cry - Dead Space 3 I suppose the two I'm most excited for are Lightning Returns and Dead Space 3.
The Last of Us takes the category for my by a long run. It is different to other games within that genre, and based on E3 coverage, it really does look like an amazing game that will stand out from the crowd.
As of right now, the only games I'm really looking forward to are Fire Emblem Awakening and maybe Ni no Kuni, though I haven't really seen much of the latter. Even at that, I doubt I get either of them on release day. Tales of Xillia will be out at some point this year, but I got my Tales fix with Graces and I've heard that Xillia is a fairly lackluster entry in the series anyway, so I'm not too hyped for it.
Just thought I'd update this. I'm no longer looking forward to getting SimCity due to it being always-online, very buggy (not counting the initial server issues), and small city sizes. I was really hoping it would be as good as Sim City 4 but with 3D visuals but they somehow made it worse. :(
