Which do you prefer? I'm partial to Xbox Live, mostly because of party chat, the bigger focus on online services, and overall it seems to perform better than PSN.
I use all the online Systems, From Live to PSN and Friend Codes. and I'm gonna throw in there PSN on Vita, Live at home
I like Xbox Live more. While PSN does have free online play, it shows; meanwhile, Xbox Live tends to run well, so it's worth what you pay. It also has more features.
I use Xbox Live. Mostly because I don't have a PS3 but I think I'd still like Xbox live better even if I did.
I always used XBL a lot more but I let my subscription expire in February and I don't know if I'll be renewing it any time soon. I think it's absolutely silly that I need Gold to watch Netflix with the 360 and I don't really want to support them just based on that alone. I don't do a lot of online gaming anymore so it's not a big deal for me what features one has over the other. I just don't feel like I should be paying to have access to things that I've already paid for.
I don't have any Sony systems, but I'm going to say PSN because it was free last I checked. I had a subscription to XBL once. I rarely used it. That was money down the drain. Just not worth it if you're a casual online player. Or if you want to use it for Netflix which you're already paying a subscription fee for!
PSN, because I don't have to pay for my service (And don't ever notice the difference between it, and friend's systems when playing on their paid online service). That said, I'd like it a lot more if there were party chat (Not text).
XBL, always and forever. I think it offers so much more than that of PSN and the price is worth it. Xbox is very little without Live, it creates a whole new atmosphere to gaming, and it's so good and easy in the ways you can communicate with your friends. Also, the downloadable content and customizable ability will always beat PSN. I just think that the whole layout and structure of XBL is great, and I will always say that XBL > PSN.
