After some hiccups and more downtime than we hoped, I'm proud to unveil 4P Forums v3!

First off, you'll notice we're now running XenForo. Those of you who have been with us since the beginning know that we were originally on XF before converting to Invision Power Board in 2012. Back then, development had slowed to a crawl and was questionable with the ongoing lawsuit, resources were few and far between, and the future was uncertain. IPB was much more feature-rich and better suited for our needs.

Time changes things, however, and XF has a ton of resources to benefit our community - not to mention it runs much faster and is less of a resource hog. I'm going to try to cover the major changes here, but have fun discovering the little touches here and there!

    New Theme
The most obvious change, we have a new theme from Audentio Styles, created in no small part by our own OokaOoka! Besides being sexy as hell, the new theme is immensely customizable. By going to the bottom left corner of the page, you can switch from fixed to fluid with a click of a button. By clicking AD Styler, you may select from a number of game-related schemes or build your own with the background and color selectors.

Best of all, it's responsive, so it will scale to your mobile device!

    Trophies
The biggest feature to come to 4P Forums in some time, we've instituted a new Trophy system. Trophies are collectibles based on gaming characters, items, etc. Like all good collectible items, some are rarer than others. You can acquire trophies by doing various things around the forums, such as posting, receiving likes, filling out your profile, and some are even a mystery. They will also give you points, similar to Gamerscore on Xbox Live. Your current number of Trophy Points will be displayed around the forums, and your trophies can be viewed on your profile.

For a list of all currently available trophies, click here! New ones will constantly be added, so don't think it stops with this starting set!

    Leveling
Level-ups are now obtained through posting. They don't really serve any purpose other than your own self-gratification and incentive, but your profile and forum home will now show your progress towards the next level.

Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Steam Accounts
You can now sign up to 4P using your Facebook, Twitter, Google, or Steam account. If you are an existing member, you can link all of those accounts to your 4P account by going to "External Accounts" in your settings.

    Steam Integration
By linking your Steam account and filling the field out in your profile, your profile data will be added to our Steam statistics and your Steam status will be shown on your profile. By going to the Steam hub on the forums, you can see what 4P users are playing and what games they own.

    Gamercards
If you add your Steam, PSN, or Xbox Live account name to your profile, a Gamercard will automatically be generated for you through Exophase. In addition, fields for League of Legends, Minecraft, and more can be found in your profile settings now. By hovering over the icon for a service (displayed on a user's profile or in their postbit), you can see the relevant data and a Gamercard if applicable.

You can include Gamercards in your signature by inserting the code found on your profile in the Gamercards tab.

    User Tagging Is Back!
By typing @ + a username, you can tag someone in a post. They will automatically be notified. Hi RhysRhys!

There are a lot of other new features available for you to discover as well. As always with a change of this magnitude, there may be kinks and glitches to work out, so don't hesitate to let me know if you find anything that's not working quite right.

Thank you all for your support of 4P through the years, and let's make this the best iteration yet!

P.S. - The E3 forum is now open, so be sure to jump into the excitement of gaming Christmas with all your 4P friends!
