What operating system do you use most of the time? I use Windows 7...definitely my favorite version of Windows yet. It's streamlined, performs better, and just overall works better than any other OS I've ever used.
Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Then Windows 7 if I'm on my dad's / the family computer. But I'd prefer Mac OS X over Windows any day.
Windows 7. It's my favourite OS and I even tossed it on my netbook because the slowdown from it was worth it compared to XP.(And it isn't as bloated as Vista so I didn't have to worry as much with the netbook.) I want to try Mac OSX and I probably could now that I have a larger USB stick to hackintosh my netbook with (apparently it *was* a good one for that sort of thing, though I'm not sure it is anymore since it's old) but I can't afford a real Mac and even if I could, I'd probably prefer to get a pimped out Windows computer anyway. (I've tried Linux too but I can't stand it. Or at least the distro I tried, which I think was ubuntu.)
Windows Vista. It sucked at first, and I hated it, but once we tweaked it for awhile, it's worked like a charm ever since. I don't really feel the need to upgrade to 7 just yet. I'd like to for the cosmetic end of things, but Vista works fine. Whenver I feel like shoveling out the cash for 7, I just remind myself of the days of Windows ME. D8;
If you have a .edu address, Drew, you can get Windows 7 for $30 from Microsoft. It's definitely worth the upgrade.
Oh snap! I think I'm going to do something with that! I want to install Windows on my laptop, but I have my copy of Vista running on my brother's computer.
I use Windows XP mainly, because it has an OSX transformation pack, so I get the GUI I like along with the line of OS. But I do use Windows 7 occasionally, like if I plan on PC gaming or something (Which is def not happening on my XP machine, lmao).
My school gives it for free so long as you're a full time student. n_n The only reason I look forward to going back is to snag another install of it, haha.
