Never updated this with my new phone...which I got back in March, lmao.

I have a Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD. Yes, obnoxious name, but the phone is a huge improvement over my old one, and the battery is incredible.

My boyfriend's contract ended this past Saturday, and since he had gotten a new phone on the line we opened up for me on his plan last November using the Galaxy S3 he sold me, he let me get a phone this time. I wound up going with a "used" blue iPhone 5c from Best Buy, which only cost me $1 before tax. Still on Sprint, so reception's kind of sketchy, but holy hell is this phone great. It's very compact (Though sadly this mean the screen is kind of small), and it runs games very well. I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy VI and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on it.

Oh, I've gotten an upgrade since the last time I posted in this too.

I switched carriers to Wind last year when my contract with Telus finally expired and got an HTC One. (I loved my Desire so much that I wanted to stick with the same brand.) I've had it nearly half a year now and I'm still so happy with it. It's a little big and doesn't really fit into my pockets all that easily but that's alright. It's a great phone.

I love my contract about as much as my phone though. Unlimited data!! I never understood how people can burn through so much data since it was so easy to be conservative with it but... a soft cap of 5GB/month before they slow it down (and no cap beyond that)? Yeah, it's easy to ramp up the usage. The only problem is it only works in specific Canadian cities and everywhere else is roaming but my city and the city my parents live in are both on the list and I only end up roaming for maybe 15 minutes in between when travelling back and forth so I can't complain.

I'm with Rogers. They're treating me far better than Bell did. Unfortunately, I got this phone and contract just a few months before they switched to two year over three year contracts. When it's up though, I may do what Erica did because it sounds amazing. Contract, I mean.

I love my phone. A Galaxy S II. It is great. But it's also just been kind slow towards the end of the day lately. Could do with a new battery at this point too. And I never rooted it, so the false warnings about being out of space are a pain

Virgin Mobile with a nice Samsung Galaxy Reverb. Second one I've owned - old one smashed to pieces and stopped charging and I bought a second one because the thing works. $55 a month plan with no restrictions and about 1Mbps 3G service, can't complain.

I got a new phone and forgot to post it!

I now have a red Droid Turbo. It's sexy looking and super-fast and has a bigger screen so it's much more comfortable to type on and use in general. Haven't tried out Hearthstone on it yet, since it just came out on Android phones last week. The Turbo charger that comes with it is amazing though - it charges the phone from almost nothing in like an hour or two at most.

This is a bit hypocritical of me, given my reluctance to use a the XL/LL variations of the DS and 3DS, but as of yesterday I now have a Nexus 6 phone

It is damn big. Very awkward to hold, even with my giant hands. But it is a gorgeous screen and reading on it is wonderful.

Mostly I went with it because I was fed up with Samsung and all the limitations I've had over the years. I want pure uncompromised Android this time around.

Still learning it, configuring it, adding apps. Open to any suggestions if there's an app you find helpful or can't live without. I'm behind in app trends since I was unable to install anything on my last phone for ages

So when are you planning on upgrading to a smartphone now that you're free of your dad's reign of terror?

I have a Moto X on Verizon. Lollipop's memory leak is shit but I do like my phone.
