So everyone, how are things going? Anyone else playing the new Mortal Combat right now? Or the new Black Ops map pack? Fatalities on Mortal Combat are sick. Especially Noob's (Well, first tier Fatalities, at least)
Yep, I am playing MK. I completed it the other day and that was the reason I wrote the review; have you checked it out? Noob's is pretty awesome. I quite like Striker's, only because they have a really cool, execution feel to them.
I'm not playing MK because I'm pretty terrible at fighting games, so therefore I really don't enjoy them that much. Working on catching up my backlog and playing Pokemon Black right now.
This is a unique and creative thread title. A+! I have nothing to add, because I don't know what those games are...
How do you not know what Mortal Kombat is? D: *This is the part where you check out my review about it* Your childhood must have been a lot less violent and bloody than mine then...
I was hoping someone would edit the title with something creative this morning. :p And yeah, I suppose most kids aren't allowed to buy them so that would explain it. @Geoff I'm playing as well. Haven't beat the English version yet. Which badge are you at?
I was never allowed to play violent games as a kid. Or even watch violent movies/tv shows. It took forever to convince my mom to let us buy Smash Bros. on N64 and I wasn't allowed to watch Power Rangers. But I still knew what MK was so Nick really just has no excuse.
See, I loved playing those games when I was younger and even though my mother protested, I told her even then that I knew it wasn't real, it wouldn't alter my vision on reality and I wouldn't turn into a mad man. I think I turned out alright...
I don't think my dad cared too much but my mom was just so against violence. :( It sucks because now everyone looks back fondly on Power Rangers specifically and I'm always left out of the nostalgia conversations, haha.
Haha, same. My dad didn't mind but my mum was against it. I remember her getting angry that my dad allowed me to buy GTA for the GBA. It was amusing. Power Rangers was a fun program, but I look back at it now and it really is grinding. I don't even know why! XD
