    Nintendo E3 2015 Digital Event
    Tuesday, June 16, 9:00am PDT
Watch the conference here. (coming soon)

Nintendo is continuing its tradition of doing a pre-recorded Digital Event instead of a press conference this year. With Zelda already confirmed to not make an appearance, expect news on more Smash and Splatoon content along with more details on Star Fox, Mario Maker, and Yoshi’s Woolly World. Hopefully we’ll have some big surprises and 3DS love as well.

This is meant to serve as a general discussion thread. Please feel free to make new threads for game announcements, other major announcements, or anything else you'd like to discuss! All our E3 news posts will be posted to this forum for commenting as well.

    To add to this...

Beside's the Digital Event itself, there's also the Nintendo World Championship (with a Treehouse pre-show) on the 14th. In addition, there's Super Smash Bros. event also on the 14th discussing new content. And lastly, the Treehouse gang will be streaming from the E3 showfloor from the 16th to the 18th

I predict nothing at all about the NX. For DeNA, maybe a quick montage trailer of what's in the works - with actual details to surface in a Direct at a later date.

Nintendo has three evergreen titles on their hands - Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., and Splatoon - I see ongoing DLC reveals for these three

We'll see Star Fox, of course. I think it's about time for a new Metroid. We'll see what Retro Studios, Monster Games, and Next Level Games have been up to. A new IP somewhere in there? Maybe an indie game eShop montage. Something, a spinoff?, from a Japanese dev

Nintendo has said there's a number of games releasing in the next year we haven't seen yet. We'll probably see some of these.

I don't care that they said Zelda won't be shown. I say Zelda is their behind-closed-doors game. It's big and they need something big and I can't think of what else that would be

This is always one of the things I look forward too most during E3. Hoping they announce some cool DLC for Smash Bros. and naturally some new Pokémon news.

It's been 12 years since the last F-Zero game. There needs to be another one!

I would also like to see a sequel to Pokemon Snap for Wii U/3DS.

Miyamoto said a while back that he didn't think there was anything else that could be done with the F-Zero series, and he didn't think there was a point in making another game unless they did something different. Just earlier this year he said that unless they could do something radically different with a control interface, then maybe they would make another F-Zero in the future, but for now it's not happening.

Whaaat? You mean he doesn't think gyroscopic controls on the Wii U are viable next-step for a high speed racing game??

I remember that. I took 'control' to be more like 'feel', than an actual input device. It is a difficult series, maybe they think that's a reason of consistently low sales. I'd assume they want it to be more accessible.

Still though, even a HD port of GX/AX would be welcome, with some online features thrown in. I mean... nobody played it the first time around anyway. And it still looks gorgeous even at 480p. So, just upres the thing. It still wouldn't sell mind you, for a number of reason (like being on the Wii U for starters)

But why did they put two F-Zero tracks in Mario Kart 8? One sure, but two? They must be teasing something.

We've had a couple of leaks this week before Nintendo's E3 events get underway. Kinda takes away the surprise :(

    - Hyrule Warriors 3DS (with Tetra, the King of Red Lions, and a golden Ocarina item)
    - Super Smash Bros. DLC (Fire Emblem's Roy, Street Fighter's Ryu, a new stage, some more Mii Fighter costumes, a Splatoon trophy)

Neither is earth-shattering news, so I hope Nintendo has more in store
