Everyone seems to be talking about companies themselves winning E3, but I'm interested to know: Which individual games did you guys find most impressive? It can be for any reason whatsoever, too.
I think Watch Dogs is the one that sticks out in most people's minds, mostly because it looks so original.
Watch Dogs is very intriguing but Assassin's Creed III and Pikmin 3 were the best games showcased at E3 for me.
On the contrary, I thought the gameplay they showed in AC:America made it even less appealing to me. :P Honestly, I think the thing I saw at E3 that interested me the most may very well have been the Lara Croft game. I'll admit I didn't watch a whole lot of game reveals or trailers or anything but this was the one game I saw during a conference where I went "wow, I'd definitely play that!" The more I think about Watch Dogs, the more I feel like it'll just be a GTA game with a slightly better plot mechanic driving it. Sandbox appeals to me in some ways but I'm too iffy on this one.
To be honest, I think that it's impossible not to be iffy on it. It looks really promising from what we've seen, but then again, that's very little. I think it's too soon to be praising it as the best game ever, but it's too soon to be writing it off as "just a GTA game with a slightly better plot" too. I just think it has a lot of potential - we'll have to see whether or not it lives up to it.
