Favorite Movie Genre

    What types of movies do you like to listen to? I really like Comedy movies and action/adventure movies.
    What about you guys?

    You mean what kind of movies do you like to watch? :P

    I enjoy Horror and Comedy movies. Two different extremes but there is nothing better than your blood pumping adrenaline from being scared or laughing your butt off.

    I'm not really selective when it comes to movie genres. If it's a movie I want to see, any movie, I'll watch it regardless of its genre. However, I do find myself watching a lot of Action, Adventure, Suspense, Thriller, Fantasy, Comedy, Romantic Comedy, and the occasional Horror films the most.

    ...which I guess would be nearly all movie genres. :-(

    Comedy. I love funny movies. They're easier to watch than almost any other genre because you have to be crazy to dislike them. (Then again, I suppose I have to admit I don't like romantic comedies, nor do I like movies like the Hangover which are supposed to be comedic gold......) And then I like animated movies which have genres of their own, but they tend to be more a mix of comedy/adventure and I grew up with and still love that. :x

    I don't like horror movies since I hate being badly scared in a psychological way and the rest are just dumb and scare you with cheap tricks like getting your anticipation up, nothing happening, and a few seconds later it makes you jump. Well, I like eerie things a lot but I hate feelings of dread or suspense and they make me feel really sick which tends to linger after the movie with me. (Same with gore.) It sucks because my mom loves these movies and is always trying to drag me to them or rent them or watch them on TV when I'm around and I just haaaate them. xD;

    I mostly like action/action-adventure (like LOTR) and sci-fi movies, but I also like comedies as long as they're good comedies. Not comedies that rely on crude or cheap humor, but actual funny movies.

    I love to watch movies, my favourite movie genre's would have to be comedy, romance, action, adventure and I also love watching disney movies :)

    I know what I don't like. That's easy to answer. Gorey, slasher porn like Saw. Or horror that has gross violence in it.. I do like creepy, like the Twilight Zone or Hithcock, but not actual horror

    I don't like gross-out comedies or frat boy comedies like Animal House and The Hangover.

    Also, oddly abstract and pretentious art films.

    Otherwise I think I'm fair game for most things. If I had to say, then I'd say action/adventure-fantasy. Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones, that kind of thing. And animated films, which isn't a genre, but still.

    I'm kinda not a movie person in general. .___.; I dont know why, I guess it has something to do with my patience and tolerance for most movies, and if anything, sci-fi is more of my taste than anything else. I would go for horror and those scary movies, but then again, that's just not me and I get scared easily, soooo. D:

    I mainly love Horror. A good horror film is something that I do enjoy. I don't mind most genres anyway, but romance is something that I would rather punch myself in the face than watch! XD

    It's much harder to make me laugh than it is to manipulate my other emotions, so I value a great comedy more than anything else. However, the majority of my favorite films are still historical dramas with a smattering of sci-fi.
