Every game has got them so what are your favourites? Here are mine: (I don't cover every genre and you don't have to either) Fighting -------------------- Poke Floats- Super Smash Bros. Melee I don't even understand how someone came up with this idea. You fight on top of giant, cel-shaded Pokemon! How cool/messed up is that! The player has to adapt to their surroundings constantly because the stage is constantly changing. Having the high ground can be beneficial one moment and a detriment the next. Awesome stage. Platformer --------------------- Bramble Blast- Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest Pretty much every level in DKC2 up until Bramble Blast was about the precision of your jumps (except the swimming levels of course). But in this level, your timing was put to the ultimate test; and you rarely jump at all. The music is great too. FPS --------------------- Statue Park- GoldenEye As soon as you start this level, all you can see ahead of you is darkness, forcing you to explore your surroundings like you never have before in this game. And as you explore, trying to figure out where the heck you're supposed to go, enemies creep out of the darkness firing at you, making you flinch (I mean you, not Bond) before you can fire back. The sound of gunshots seem to come from nowhere in this eerie level. Action RPG --------------------- Earth- Mass Effect 3 Gameplay starts at 3:10 This is it. The fate of the galaxy depends solely on you pulling off this mission. Death and destruction surrounds you as you trudge through a barren London, taking out wave after wave of Reaper forces. The most difficult and intense mission in the Mass Effect series. Racing ---------------------- Cosmo Terminal- F-Zero GX First off, there are no walls on this track. You need to be very precise with your movements and use your boosts wisely. This track perfectly embodies the game's tagline "Don't blink and drive!"
