Obviously when we buy a new system, that purchase is going to be accompanied by at least one or (usually!) two or three games - otherwise, why bother? So the question is simple: what were the first games you bought or were bundled with each new system you purchased? Here are mine...gonna try to keep them in the order of when I got each system: GBC - Pokemon Pinball, Star Wars Episode I Racer N64 - Pokemon Stadium GBA - Lego Bionicle (it was a gift, don't ask - yes it was horrible) GCN - Mario Kart Double Dash (bundled), Pokemon Colosseum, F-Zero GX DS - Mario Kart DS PS2 - Kingdom Hearts Wii - Wii Sports (obviously), The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess PSP - Daxter (bundled), Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology Xbox 360 - Eternal Sonata, Burnout Paradise, Fable: The Lost Chapters PS3 - LittleBigPlanet 3DS - Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars (traded it in later on - OoT 3D was my next game and the oldest 3DS game I currently own) Wii U - Nintendo Land (bundled), Darksiders II (the first game I actually bought for it, but a few weeks later) Vita - Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (bundled), PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale (download code included)
GBC - Pokémon Yellow (Yeah, I know, it isn't an actual GBC game) Sega Genesis - Sonic the Hedgehog Nintendo 64 - Pokémon Stadium PlayStation - A Bug's Life GameCube - I think I got three games at once. Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic Mega Collection, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. PlayStation 2 - Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex GBA - Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure PSP - Daxter NDS - Super Mario 64 DS and Metroid Prime: Hunters - First Hunt Wii - Wii Sports and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 360 - I got Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda in the bundle I got, and I also got The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon PS3 - The bundle I got included LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition and the God of War Collection 3DS - Resident Evil: Revelations
NES - Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt, Tetris, Blades of Steel, and Sesame Street 123 Game Boy - Super Mario Land, Tetris SuperNES - Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario World Game Boy Color - Not sure. Pokémon Yellow Version (...not really, I guess) or The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening? Might have been Pokémon Pinball? Yeah, I think it was tha. And I think Pokémon Crystal Version was my only GBC-exclusive game. Nintendo 64 - Mario Kart 64, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Banjo-Kazooie GameCube - Luigi's Mansion, WaveRace: Blue Storm Game Boy Advance - Super Mario Advance, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity Nintendo DS - Super Mario 64 DS, The Urbz (idk) Wii - Wii Sports (duh!), The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Xbox 360 - Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and I'm not sure what the other game was. Tempted to say Beautiful Katamari. Also, it came with Lego Indiana Jones Nintendo 3DS - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Oh well, it's been over two years and I'm sure at least some of us have bought new systems and added to the list, so I'm not too concerned about it.
Only gotten two new consoles (er, "only") since last thread so I'll include digital downloads, I guess? :x GB/C: Pokémon Red GBA: Super Mario Advance DS: Pokémon Dash, Super Mario 64 DS PSP: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Daxter (bundled) 3DS: Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Vita: Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (bundled) and all PS+ games N64: Super Mario 64 (and Smash Bros...?) GCN: Luigi's Mansion PS2: Kingdom Hearts Wii: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Playstation 3: Madden & some other game (bundled). Xbox 360: Eternal Sonata, Beautiful Katamari, Bioshock (bundled) Steam: Portal PSN: Noby Noby Boy XBLA: .........Aegis Wing? VC: Mario Kart 64 WiiWare: My Pokémon Ranch 3DS Downloads: Picross e2 And I guess the first PS1 game I bought was FF7 and the first/only Xbox game was Fable, but I've never actually owned either console so they aren't really worth mentioning.
I'm going to yank this from the grave since I've obviously bought a PS4 and Xbox One by now. :P PS4 - Infamous: Second Son Xbox One - Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Sunset Overdrive
