What classic games would you like to see remade in present-day HD graphics?

Personally, I'd love to see Final Fantasy VII. The tech demo Square Enix showed at the PS3's unveiling was incredible, and I'd love to see VII remade to look like that. Or even in FFXIII graphics. The game is still really good, but the graphics haven't aged well AT ALL and they're outright painful to look at nowadays.

Banjo-Kazooie. True, it already had that HD XBLA port, but that's not really what I wanted.

The original N64 title already had some great texture work, very detailed. The XBLA just made those textures highres (which apparently means they made things ugly and smeary on occasion... and also used the wrong font).

I would love the game to have identical gameplay to the original game, but with better textures and models and looks more like the official art.

Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 and Metal Gear Solid. FInal Fantasy 6 and 9 would also be really cool as they're imo the best two. Maybe 7 but idk i never really liked it that much.

Crash Bandicoot 2 in HD would be amazing. I love that game and spent hours playing it as a young kid. I would definitely like to revisit a HD version of the game.

Remade? Hmm... Well, there are plenty of games I'd like to see remastered in HD (Jak and Daxter series, Ratchet and Clank series, Kingdom Hearts series, GameCube Zelda games), but remakes... Hmm.

    - A remake/reimagining/what-have-you of Final Fantasy I
    - Final Fantasy VII
    - The original three Spyro the Dragon games
    - The original three Crash Bandicoot games (and maybe Crash Team Racing)

Especially when you're used to the relatively great graphics of the rest of the Compilation.

I was going to suggest the classic Goldeneye game for the N64.
Then I heard that they're releasing an updated version and I saw the trailer on YouTube.
Other than that, I can't really think of anything.

Goldeneye Reloaded is an updated version of the Wii game, which in itself was a re-imagining of the original. They're not remaking the actual original Goldeneye.

Oh really? Darn, I thought it was a better version of the original.
I personally don't own a Wii so I don't have the game. Have you played the updated Wii version? Because I'm pretty sure I heard some bad reviews for it.
