Google+, who's got one? I've been using it for like a week now and I'm pretty impressed. It's a little different to get used to from only using Facebook and Myspace my whole networking site, but it's definitely got the upper hand so far for me. It looks really great, feels great, and is just cool. Thoughts?
I have it but haven't used the social network yet and I have the app as well. Haha, I guess I should give it a try.
I despise FaceBook, so this anti-FaceBook is interesting to me. Plus, I like all the other Google products I've tried out. I want to try out, see what's it like. Hopefully I'll stick with it. I haven't been invited yet though :(
I like it more than facebook but I keep forgetting about it and I think it's just too late to the party to really compete with Facebook. It's somewhere in-between Facebook and Twitter and the only new thing it really brings is the sheer ease of separating your friends the way you want. Wanna easily filter out your family from your fandom posts? Simple. Want to contact a circle of local friends to arrange something? That's easy too. It just makes more sense to me than Facebook. Buuuut all the people I have on Google+ save one are people I have on twitter too so... there is really no reason to use it for me. :s
I believe it's open to the public now. o___O; I was invited, but a while ago and now I believe it's free.
Oh, so it is. I thought they were going to have it like Gmail, where it was invite-only for a long time... even if everyone and their dog had an invite. EDIT: Actually, no. It's still invite-only.
I have G+. It is pretty inactive so I don't use it that much, but it looks a lot like FB to me. However, I do like it. I might start using it more.
I got an account earlier this week. It's good, but so far, it's not really as good as Facebook. Still, it has potential.
One thing I rather like about G+ is the "close to you" part on the android app (I don't actually know if it's on the site or other apps). :P Just marks your location and grabs all the updates within a certain radius of it. I snoop the people of Scarborough whenever I'm at work and get bored by the people checking in to Canada's Wonderland while at home.
I noticed this feature as well on my android app. However; I live so far out in BFE that there was like a handful of people and I was like ... I know all of these people. XD;
