I suppose this isn't really something everyone knows off the top of their head, but I'm interested in the games people end up playing the most! Is it the result of pouring hours into completion of an epic RPG, a game you've played over and over and over and over again, or are you just shamelessly addicted to a puzzle game? Exact timestamps aren't required but they are probably more impressive. :P And you can list as many or as few games as you want, maybe by console?
I've logged well over eighty-five hours in Pokémon HeartGold. That's the highest one I can think of at the moment, but I may have played Smash Bros. Brawl even longer.
In World of Warcraft for all of my characters my total play time is "108 days, 15 hours, 35 seconds" :( Over almost three years though. As far as non-mmo's go, I put in a good 50 or more hours or so in Final Fantasy X, and probably something similar in the first Kingdom Hearts, and 65 hours in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. I think I also put in like 80-90 hours in Pokemon Emerald (WHY, I hated that gen ;_; ).
My most would be call of duty:MW2 which I have over a week of play time on and only owned the game for 6months. and I have 100+ hours over several RPG with the most being in FF13.
Hmm... not sure. Never really thought about it or kept track. I would guess "Ocarina of Time" or "Banjo-Kazooie" because I've played those both to death with repeated replays (even to this day).
I think that Super Smash Bros. Melee is my highest. If I can ever find my memory card I'll snap a pic, but I think it's close to 1000 hours.
I reached 999 hours, 59 minutes on Pokemon Pearl. I played well over it though. Only reason it happened was due to all my online competitive play.
I think the Pokemon TCG game for GBC was my highest. I collected all the cards and played the crap out of it before my game got deleted accidentally by one of my friends. I think I had 200-something hours, then I played through and got all the cards again after my game was deleted.
I broke the clock on my Pokemon Emerald I think it was; I got to 999:99. I was shiny hunting on it so much that I didn't realise that I had spent that much time on it, oh dear! ;;
I have never passed a clock on any of my games and now I kind of want to. :( That's really impressive! There are three games that I know I've spent an exorbitant amount of time with. The first is Kingdom Hearts II, and I'm hoping it counts since I have well over 100 hours on my English file and then another 300ish on my Final Mix file. (And that's not counting fighting bosses and dying over and over again which is probably another 100 at least!) The next is Tales of the Abyss, which a friend and I did a complete playthrough of and that actually took two playthroughs. I know our file is over 200 hours and that doesn't count my first playthrough which clocked in at around 60 or any extra time played that wasn't saved. :B I played this game so much that I'm a bit sick of it, haha. So it's probably a good thing I lost my disc. ;_; And finally, I think I might have close to 800+ hours on Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep which is especially sad because it only came out last January. XD; I've got about 100 hours on my original Japanese file (maybe more). Then I think my English file clocked at ~145 hours. And then I bought it again (shut up) for the Final Mix version on which I did a level 1 run and... that was another 300 if you count all three level 1 files, the extra stuff, and another file where Aqua was grinded to level 80 and beat all the extra bosses/Mirage Arena on her own. And none of that counts time-spent-dying-on-bosses-and-then-giving-up-and-grinding-more which is probably double the time. And I'm still not sick of the game, somehow, because I still get antsy to play it again. @_@
