What would it be? We all have our strengths and weaknesses, and so there have to be certain games for which we envy the skill of others who are good at them. This isn't necessarily a thread to list what genres you're bad at, more like what genres/games you wish you were an ace at. You can be good but still want to be truly great. For me, it's probably Street Fighter. There's a huge fighting game community on the net, but for someone like me who missed the boat on practicing fighters in my youth, the advanced strategies, reflexes, memorization, and all-around mastery required just to be considered a "good" player are incomprehensible. To be a "great" player seems like it would require superhuman levels of talent. I choose Street Fighter over other fighting games mostly because it has the biggest fanbase and probably the most lore of any fighter franchise. Being excellent at a single fighting game would almost certainly guarantee that I'm at least competent at all others anyway. A close second is the Guitar Hero/Rock Band franchise. Even though it's passe now and probably dead for good, I always envied the people who could 100% songs on expert. I absolutely loved those games, but I could only ever handle the most basic songs on Expert and even then it was touch-and-go. My mind could follow the notes but my fingers just couldn't keep up. I blame that bastard orange note...never did quite get fully used to it.
I think for me it would have to be COD games, as much as I am fairly good and can get certain killstreaks I do wish I could be better at it just to reach higher killstreaks. Guitar Hero and Rock Band are also other games I wish I was better at, my brother is brill at these games and I really do envy him being able to do so much on the hardest difficulty lol
