    For some reason I can't seem to change my Steam ID in the contact details section (link here) even though I'm putting in my ID correctly.

    You can't just use your Steam name. Try using this and then enter what it gives you. Should be something like STEAM_0:X:XXXXXX with X being a bunch of numbers.

    Stupid, I know, but that's the way the plugin works. :/
