What do you guys make of it? I think it looks visually pleasing, very smooth, slick and fluent. However I'm not so sure how I feel about the content, it seems to be deriving a LOT from the source material and as such a passionate MGS fan I don't want to see the series' multiplat debut of this generation flop because the game derailed itself from the wider universe of Metal Gear. It's early days yet though and I'm sure after a few more trailers are released I'll warm to it.
As far as this preview goes, all the words that popped up were making me "lol". XD I guess we'll find out about the cyborgs, but there does seem to be a lot of them.
I mistook them at first as being one of those PMC groups from MGS4, which would of made a lot of sense.
It looks... very generic, if you ask me. I was excited about it before, but it feels like a generic action game. :/ Reminds me of something like God of War or Devil May Cry. I'll have to see more before I know what exactly to think of it.
I thought Metal Gear games were a mixture of stealth and shooting. This looks like a hack 'n' slash game.
Most of them are, some deviate from the mix though like Portable Ops which was squad based sneaking, Portable Ops+ which was basically a third person shooter and the Metal Gear Ac!d games which are nonsensical card game based mishmashed oddities.
