Okay! So...what sorts of crazy ass noises do you hear at night? Outside, inside, what ever and where ever you hear them? Mine are the occasional farts coming from my younger sister and brother when they are sleeping in the living room. o-o
People getting out of bed to get a drink of water (Usually my brother or sister), people getting up to make food (My mom), my dog barking (Only the dumb one), birds chirping (For some reason xD), and the train passing by my house. Lovely >>;
I hear a lot of drunk students coming home from the bars every so often. I live in the basement and there's an underground hallway connecting all the townhouses in the complex. Voices echo down it if I don't have my bedroom door closed. Aside from that, though, I don't really get any super strange noises. Can't complain about that 'cause any sort of noise keeps me up for hours.
I'm usually the last person up, so if anyone in the house hears night noises, it's mostly me trying to be quiet while walking down the looooooooooong hallway and opening the oh-so-creaky doors :P In general I don't notice too many night noises, though. There's a cat that's not technically ours but she strayed to us and lives around our house, and sometimes I hear an ALMIGHTY racket as she fights with some other cat. Usually one of us goes outside to chase off the other cat, but more often than not she can fend for herself and shuts up after a while XD
I hear creaking sounds a lot, as well as this weird noise that sounds like a ferret running around in the attic. I'm told it's just the house, but whatever :P
I just moved into a new apartment. We're right in front of a bus station, so every 20 minutes I can hear a trolly/bus/rail car go by. It vibrates the floor. We're on the first floor of a two story apartment, so I often hear the people above us walking. I don't mind the rail car anymore. It's nice. And I can hear the ocean when it's quiet out. We're literally 20 feet from the beach, so that's a nice touch.
Nothing except people in the room next to mine. Which is more annoying than it sounds. Yelling, banging noises, stuff like that. >>;
My house be old. So creaking, the metal roofing popping when the temperature changes; ya know, stuff you'd normally hear from an old house. Plus my cat walking around and junk.
