Okay, I have a CycloDS. Obviously I'm horrible at making threads and I don't give-a-fuck.
Anybody else emulate with NDS with a flashcard?

I have an R4, but I only use it for translation patches and homebrew. It's a pretty nifty little thing.

I've seen that the iCyclo works on the new 3DS so I'm pretty stoked about that. I'll be gettin' one no doubt. :D

Wow they have a DS emulation already? Anybody have a link to where I could download it and some games?

I think he's talking more about flash cards in general, not DS emulators for PC.

I'm almost tempted to pick up a 3DS at $170 just to get an early model with low firmware. If they ever come out with a flash cart that can break the region-locking on it I'd be first in line to get that, as America is already getting screwed on things like One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP, which is only coming out in the UK.

What's that mean? Does that mean you can only play the emulated games on an actual DS, so you don't actually have to purchase the game?

I have an R4, which I don't play as much anymore as it doesn't support all these new games without a patch (which I'm too lazy to use).

Emulation was the correct wording here, but it think it was very misleading.

However, this thread really could be about either DS emulating on PC and/or on flashcards. I have seen (but never tested any) DS emulators on PC running Pokemon Gold and White, GTA: China Town Wars, and the new Golden Sun game. (sorry, title slipped my mind...)

I'm very, very cautious right now. I would love to have a 3DS because I love the feel, the screens, everything. I really could care less about 3D gameplay. :P In fact, it gives me a headache.
But that's besides the point. I have a CycloDS and I know they; as well as Acekard, have a flashcard for DSi (which I'm not too big a fan of) so I'm hoping they put a flashcard for 3DS into production soon. :)

I wouldn't hold my breath on the 3DS flashcard... I'm sure they'll make one sometime, but Nintendo said that the 3DS keeps a log of what software you use; if anything unofficial is found, then the next update essentially bricks your system.
