All 360s are going to a matte finish. What are your thoughts on this? Personally, I prefer matte electronics anyway - they might not look as "sleek" but glossy finishes collect dust and fingerprints.
I myself prefer Matte myself aswell, find them alot better to look at and as you said above they don't collect as much dust or fingerprints which can be a pain.
I heard about this yesterday and I also prefer the Matte look. I thought to myself the other day how much I would prefer the 250GB but I didn't want to be constantly cleaning it. I guess that's possible now.
I wouldn't say that. Glossy electronics look really really good...for all of 10 seconds before they're filthy and covered in dust and fingerprints.
Glossy and white is okay. Somehow. You'd think they'd look filthier, but that hasn't been my experience
I finally got enough money to get an xbox when the Slims first came out. I wish I could get a matte one. They look so much sexier.
Agreeing so hard. :/ I don't think glossy electronics look all that great to begin with. But maybe it's because I look at them and go "yep, as soon as I touch that, it'll look horrible". But even if I look past the fingerprints, I usually find glossy electronics to look pretty tacky. They just feel cheaper to me, somehow.
I do agree that glossy devices get easily dirty and covered with fingerprints, but not in this case. For me, I don't really touch my consoles much, they just sit there on the shelf. Therefore, they don't really get covered in fingerprints. As for the dust/dirt, it's easy to keep glossy devices clean just buy vacuuming them.
