Whether it be the local Blockbuster (they still exist?!), Redbox, or services like Gamefly, do you ever rent games? If so, do you ever wind up buying the games you rent later down the line , or is one rental enough to satisfy you with that particular game?
I used to rent games all the time, especially when friends would come over and we would hang out. Unfortunately, the only local place to rent from now is Redbox, and their selection is pretty limited. I rarely rent games anymore.
I used to rent a lot when I was a kid but I haven't in years. Not only are there no good places to rent from here, but I tend to prefer owning my games. Unlike a book where I'm only reading it for a few hours, games are usually a substantial investment of my time so I like to have them on my shelf, if that makes any sense. Canada finally has a site somewhat like Gamefly but I don't really see myself using it. I also take so long to play games, now, that I'd have to rent a game over and over again to finish it and I imagine that would get pricey.
I only did anything game related at a Blockbuster once - to print my Pokemon Snap pictures XD I don't rent games. I like owning
