So I want a good RTS game to get into over the summer but there's so much choice out there and hoenstly I don't really know what I'm looking for because I'm not all that into gaming in the first place. So far, Civilisation V and Starcraft II look interesting, and I remember liking Age of Empires III back in the day. If that gives you anything at all to work with. So basically, 4P, recommend your favourite RTS games please!
Civ is more turn-based strat, but it's still great. Civilization is your best bet, in my opinion. I spent almost two years straight playing Civilization IV and that was it. It's a great series. I, personally, recommend getting Civ IV with the expansions (especially Beyond the Sword). It'll give you a ton of content for cheaper than Civ V and it's an amazing game. I don't own Civ V, but I really want it still. It's a lot different than Civ IV, but I hear it's great as well. Starcraft is another good series. I only own the first one, not the new one, but I hear great things about it as well. My recommendation: Civ IV or V
I don't really like RTS games, unless League of Legends counts. Haven't played much of it, but it's fun so far. :P
