In the past few years, Tablets like the iPad have been doing quite well. Where do you see them in the next few years? Do you think we will be able to play games like WoW or Cod on them?
I don't think you will be able to play WoW but COD is possible. I think games like Final Fantasy, Pokemon, and other pixel games will flood the tablet gaming universe first though.

The possibility to design a tablet PC that can handle either is high; however, the probably of them coming into action and/or actually seeing a community on either game using a tablet is considerably unlike. Seriously, think of how "fun" it'd be to play CoD on a tablet. .-. Yeah, no thanks. However! LoZ scrollers, Pokemon, Final Fantasy re-releases (FFVII redesigned for touch, anybody? Hell yes) and the such will more than likely flood, yes. As far as gaming goes, anyway. I foresee tablets taking over the "portable" PC within the decade. Including netbooks. Seriously it's cake to do all the necessary stuff you do on a computer (email, banking, etc.) on an iPad. Plus, specifically the iPad is hella sexy. People who don't care about gaming and just wanna Facebook and Tweet (faggots) aren't worried about component quality, they're worried about sexiness. Tablet PC's are the future. The near, near future.
I guess you are right. It will not be that fun to play on an iPad, but I am sure if designers wanted to, they could make it happen. I am just sick of playing Angry Birds, I want a real console or PC game. Tablets will slowly take over the portable world like you said.
There's definitely a market for touch/tablet games and the industry is slowly discovering it. I don't think we'll see many (successful) traditional games like CoD and the like, but I can see it being a great platform for point-and-click adventure games or turn-based RPGs. Play to its strengths (games you take your time with, that benefit from touch-screen capabilities) and I can see it really taking off. But for traditional controller games, I think the modified controls are just too cumbersome. And any game where you have to tilt the tablet to play just deserves to be trashed lmao. :(
Exactly. As far as online play goes I think games like Eve, Wow, Guild Wars, etc. being point and click would be much more successful. When I said what I did about FFVII I honestly got like unbelievably stoked. XD; That'd be retarded sick.
FF7 would be amazing on a tablet. I already love having it on my PSP but the screen is just so small that despite being amazingly portable, it's still kind of awkward. But spread out on a tablet would honestly be great. Things like that I can see being really successful.
I can foresee all the Tactics easily being remade, even non-FF tactics titles such as Advance Wars or even pure iPad games that are more high-tech than given credit. =P
I don't think so, simply because it is hard enough to play games on them now, imagen a game that is designed for a computer/controller. Yes, you could bluetooth a mouse and keyboard to one of them, but the screen is most likely smaller than the TV/Monitor you play the games on already. To be honest, I would hate to see AAA games go to a very casual piece of technology.
