Produced by Sam Raimi and distributed by Screen Gems, The Last of Us is coming to the big screen. How do you guys feel about this? Personally, I'm not happy about this. I do like the idea of having a film adaptation of TLoU, but after looking at Screen Gems' filmography I don't think this will go well. I also don't think Sam Raimi is right for this either, even if he is just producing and not directing.
Just going to say that I think I'd rather watch a TLoU movie than actually try to play TLoU, so this could be a good thing for me.
Same! I missed a section of watching the game because I had to prep dinner while my roommate was playing and I didn't care enough about the game to play it myself to see what I missed. Now I guess I don't have to worry! I think it'll make an okay movie. Not great, but not terrible.
