This is our third day on the internet, and while we have plenty of plans of our own for what's to come - we'd like to know what you would like to see in 4P's future. Here are just some of the things that we've got planned: Content being added daily - meaning more news, reviews, opinion pieces, and more Big E3 event - more details will be headed your way about this in the next week or two Live Twitter updating - when the site gets updated, you'll know as long as you follow @fourplaygames More member interactivity - post your writeups in the Community Content forum and you might get featured on the site New forum features - one of which will be rolled out in just a few days So what would YOU guys like in addition to the above?
We've got a gaming event coming up this week. More details will be posted shortly. As far as clans and teams, it's something I haven't thought much about, but if some people are interested in starting one I'd certainly be supportive.
I think a clan is something that should be considered a bit later when there's a larger highly active member base. Maybe we should get one going for Gears 3 or MW3 or Battlefield 3 or something. (All of those end in 3 :x)
Maybe in the future, a section (both in the website and the forum) dedicated to retro gaming. As a news website 4P has to focus on new consoles and this coming year will be big on that aspect. So maybe grouping older consoles/games for 4P to still have a space in which people can read reviews/articles and talk about classic gaming from NES to PS to GC? Something like that. :P
Actually, considering how slow in gaming releases and news the summer is, it'd be a good time to start something like this. This summer I've planned to catch up on reviews for older current-gen games and releases from the past couple years, but some retro content would be a great idea too. It'd give us a good content base during gaming droughts.
Some lets plays and speed runs of retro games would be cool, or those "only use one pokemon" playthroughs people do.
