Yeah the graphics are certainly nothing special. They look a bit better than the original N64 version of the game, but are definitely not up to the standards of most of the other games out right now.
Crude humor and the Duke's outlandish behavior and mannerisms might have sold a game 20 years ago, but games have evolved beyond that now. It seems like DN:F was just really stuck in the past and Duke Nukem is going to have a lot of trouble finding a place in today's gaming world.
Commander Keen was awesome. And I think it could actually work - as long as it was a solid sidescroller with the same quirky artstyle/scenarios as the original Keen games. Sidescrollers haven't evolved nearly as much as FPSes and they've aged much better, so a new Commander Keen could actually work.
I got this game yesterday and started playing last night, really good game so far from what I have played. I tried a bit of online and I thought it was good but will be alot better once I get gaming with a few friends :) all in all a really good game for 15 years in the making :)
