It's that time of year again! E3 2016 is upon us, and even though Nintendo has already said they won't be showing their NX platform this year, it still promises to be a big year for new hardware including upgraded consoles and VR. Not to mention plenty of new game releases and new information on long-awaited games such as The Last Guardian, The Legend of Zelda, and Mass Effect: Andromeda. It's gaming Christmas, and here's the one-stop thread to discuss it! Aw, no conferences on my birthday this year. That's lame. Also lame is Nintendo this year. Oh well. Just gimme 24hours of new Zelda footage. I'll be content.
Apparently Nintendo is going to be showing stuff other than Zelda, at least. There's going to be some Pokémon Sun and Moon and also some GO stuff as well. But I don't see myself being glued to the monitor watching Nintendo's stream.
Above all, I'm most disappointed that Nintendo isn't doing a World Championship this year. That was the best thing last year
I hope that Nintendo announces new DLC for MK8, it seems that they've been hinting at it for a while now. Otherwise, I really do wish that they'd talk about the NX. They've said that it's coming out next March, yet we have no idea what it even is.
I can't really see them talking about Mario Kart DLC at this point though...it's a two year old game and they're probably focusing on a Mario Kart for NX if anything. :/
I'm quite disappointed too. x: That was my entire E3 highlight last time. I don't really expect much this yeat... but Zelda U gameplay sounds promising!
EA's conference was an absolute snorefest. No surprises, a crapton of sports, and the stuff I really wanted to see (Mass Effect, Star Wars) basically consisted of just conceptual teasers. If this is a sign of things to come, we can go ahead and write this E3 off now. :/
