I thought it was very interesting to see that you can have a match where some players are using the PS3 and some are using the Vita (i.e. two players use PS3 and two use Vita in a single four player match).
Yeah, the cross-platform play really impressed me as well. I'm hoping that means that the Vita version is practically identical to the console version, since it seemed so fluid.
Some of the previews I've seen say that the graphics are nearly identical, and I haven't heard anything about the framerate dropping, so I'd say it plays great on Vita.
The only thing is that it seems like the type of game you'd want to play on a big screen. I think it might get hard to follow the action on a small portable screen.
Sony announced today that when you buy the PS3 version, you get the Vita version, and vice versa. That makes things much easier for people who have both...not that I plan on having a Vita this year anyway, haha.
This is excellent news and is one more thing that makes me wish I had a Vita just to support Sony's decision making. ...if only it had any good games. > :(
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation looks good. I'm sure the Vita version of PlayStation All-Stars will be decent, too.
This may be ignorant of me but does anyone actually play this game? Or know someone that plays this game? How is it doing in terms of sales? I know Sony cut ties with the developer of the game, Superbot, so it strikes me as odd that they're releasing DLC for it.
