I'm definitely getting Assassin's Creed III at launch. Hopefully, I can also get Resident Evil 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
I think the only game I'll be buying for the remainder of the year is Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney. And even then I'm still undecided if the language barrier will be too much or not. I lost interest in BW2--at least, enough interest that I don't want to get it at launch--and I'm not interested in AC3 in the slightest. I still kinda want Okami HD but I have so many games to beat that it's not a major priority.
I might get Okami HD but since I have it already and I have so much else to beat, it might not be a launch day purchase.
I bought a 3DS game last night so that discounts buying Layton VS Wright this year since I only budgeted for one game. :B Super excited for this one though so no regrets!
Dragon Quest Monsters 3D. :> It's a remake of a game on GBC that I adored as a kid so I'm really excited to see how it turned out.
I have never played a Dragon Quest game - Monsters or otherwise. They sound kind of boring and tedious.
Why are you so negative about everything you've never touched before? :( DQ is just another JRPG series. You like JRPGs. Granted, you wouldn't like DQM at all but it is just a spin-off so I can't really fault you for that so much.
Yeah Geoff you're so negative! He won't try Tumblr either. It's not a video game but it still counts as part of his overall character flaw of judging too soon! :P
I haven't played any. But from what little I've seen, (old) DQ games have Earthbound's battle system with a Final Fantasy-esque overlay. I've heard good things about Monsters back in the day, although I never played it.
