So another Christmas is come and gone. How was it for everyone? Spend time with family? Get any good presents All things considered, this was actually one of the best Christmases in recent memory for me. We've just put my grandfather in a nursing home with end stage Alzheimer's, and my grandmother is totally worn out from taking care of him (and will likely take weeks, if not months, to recover), and in dealing with all that stuff we haven't had much time to decorate or shop, so things were kind of light around here. But everyone was in good humor today and I enjoyed the time spent with family. As far as presents, the most notable thing I got was a Vizio soundbar for my TV, which makes things sound so much better. My room can't support a full sound system, but this more than met my expectations. Other things I got were a couple textbooks, The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan, Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 for 360, and some money, among other odds and ends. Not too big a haul this year, but it's not about presents. :)
I'm happy to see things are looking up for you Geoff :) Christmas was great for me too! I got a huge haul of gifts because my mother always goes all out in the present department despite her burning hatred for Christmas, and then we just spent the day with my cousin, his wife, their daughter, and the wife's parents. It was a bit of an odd mix for spending Christmas Day, but it was fun. Except for the fact that my cousin's wife's father (well, stepfather to be exact) is really creepy :/
Christmas was good this year, for me. Everyone was in a good mood and had fun, which is all I care about, so it went well, I'd say. On Friday, I stayed the night at my dad's house. Before I left the next morning, I opened the gifts he got me. He got me a Zelda wallet, Korn's new album, and a really neat glass light-up wolf display thing. It's absolutely beautiful, I love it. Really glad I got to spend Christmas with my dad to some extent for once. After I left, I ate breakfast with my mom, grandparents, aunt, uncle, brother, and sister. It was greeeaaat
I got this same thing! Was it in the zipper shower bag? :O Anyway. My family had a great Christmas. Thankfully, I wasn't in prison. :P And everyone pretty much got along for once. I got a bunch of really cool clothes, most notably a leather jacket. :)) And the LoZ: OT edition of the 3DS, which I love. I'm supposed to be getting a new phone, also. But our two year contract just ended today which makes me available for upgrade and I didn't have time to do it today. Hopefully soon, though. :) I'm glad to hear everyone had a good Christmas, and I hope for a great new year for everyone as well. I think a forum-wide resolution of getting more members is in proper order. haha

Sorry to hear about your grandparents Geoff, my gran herself is suffering from dementia, it was pretty hard to know how to react when she started getting confused at dinner, asking where she was, who some of us where etc. Not much you can do about it sadly though :( Hope your family is holding up ok. Other than gran's confusion I had a pretty good xmas, plenty of food and family fun :)
