So. Who else has DQIX and totally wants play with me? :3 Also General DQIX thread. Share party set ups, favorite things about the game, etc. I just got the game and so far I love it! Ive never really been a big DQ fan but I got an Acekard 2i and saw it on a rom site and thought why the hell not!
I've always wanted to get into a DQ. I think I played about half an hour of IX and then my flash cart died. I was gonna buy it legit but never got around to it and now I don't see it anywhere. I take it it's still worth checking out though. I've only ever played spinoffs of the DQ series all the way through so I really want to play a main title.
Got the game title wrong. -.- Oh well. I posted on an iPad and didn't feel like looking at the actual title. :P hahaha Anywho. I LOVED the original Dragon Warrior Monsters for GBC. I played the living hell out of that game! So far so good for DQIX. I'm sorry your flash cart died. ;_;
I've sadly never played the Dragon Quest games... I wanted to play DQ8 on PS2 - and I might, since my roommate has the game - but I have yet to do so. I've heard they're really good though, particularly if you have friends to play DQ9 with. Fixed it for you. :P
Apparently the multi-player mode is only available through local connections. I don't know about the 3DS, but DS Download Play (?) is used to only play (up to) 4 player multi-player locally. No online support. :(
I love DQIX, I played it for two weeks straight and I love how the DQ games allow to use a boomerang as your weapon... I changed that to my hero's weapon as soon as I could. XD It's really fun and I love the music!
