The way the Eeveelutions are arranged imply type advantages among the opposites. So, Espeon and Umbreon or Glaceon and Flareon, for example. So... Sylveon is weak against or super effective against Jolteon. Flying type? A new type? I saw that definition of sylvite but... I... just don't see ground type in that design at all. XD; And even then, if we were going with minerals I feel like rock/steel would be more likely than ground. Flying seems more likely. :/
This is an annoying mystery. The Japanese and French nymph aspect doesn't help. How does that play in?
The Japanese one is really confusing because the Japanese Eevees are not... cryptic to English-speakers. At all. Vaporeon = Showers Jolteon = Thunders Flareon = Booster (well, okay, have to think about this one a little) Espeon = Eefi (And this one) Umbreon = Blacky Leafeon = Leafia Glaceon = Glacia @_@ But Nymphia?
Honestly I think the graphics look a bit bad to be honest. I'd of rather they made the first real 3D pokemon game be on the Wii-U and made use of the console's potential power. This will be the first time I won't be buying a mainstream Pokemon game.
So there's been some news released lately about these games but I just want to talk about the new region, Kalos. From what I can tell, this place is massive! Lots of towns and caves it seems. In fact, it's so big the regional Pokedex is supposedly divided into three parts: Central, Coast, and Mountain. The amount of rivers is also interesting to note I think.
I haven't really been keeping up on X & Y news at all so this is the first I've seen of the map. It's... alright. It might be the picture quality but it looks like a fake one, haha. The art for the map just isn't of the same quality I generally expect from production art in the series so if you hadn't told me it's the real thing, I'd have assumed it was just a map from a ROM Hack or something. :/ Apparently you can customize trainers now? I'd normally be really excited about that but the small scan I saw of that didn't have many choices and it almost looks like you just get three choices per gender as far as hair and skin colour goes. I'm not a fan of either trainer design. :[
Since the region is based on France, I'm guessing they're going with a pointillism art style. Not in game though, just the artwork looks like that. This isn't going to be like Skyward Sword. :P
