    Does this mean they're new evolutions or forms? I'm confused but excited!

    Also, Mega Ampharos is Electric/Dragon. So if Ampharos extensively uses hair care products it becomes a Dragon type? Makes sense. :P

    They're apparently not the same as forms or evos, but they haven't revealed how exactly you get a Mega Pokemon. There's a rumor going around that they can only temporarily go into Mega mode or whatever during battle.I'm not too impressed with the idea of Mega evolutions in general myself...but we'll see how they implement it.

    I hope Venusaur doesn't get a Mega Evolution. It's perfect the way it is.

    Also, it's been confirmed that you can transfer your Pokemon from Gen V to Gen VI through the use of an app called Pokemon Bank. However, the app has a yearly fee of $5. I know $5 is not a lot but I'm still sad.

    Yeah, you get the first month free until January 31 I think? I was planning on getting the games around the holiday season so that would be cutting it close.

    $5 is like nothing, especially when you're not 11 anymore. I'm not planning on getting X/Y near release or anything but if I get it and the trial period is up, I wouldn't mind paying that fee.

    Also I was pretty pleased with the Mega Pokemon of the Gen 1 starters. Very tasteful, considering it was bound to happen. I was expecting worse!

    I've gotten over the 5 bucks thing. I understand that they need money to efficiently maintain the service. I'm fine with that. I don't like storing my Pokemon on the cloud however. I just know something will happen to them...something.

    Yeah, honestly that would worry me too. I'd only use it for the one-time transfer and that's it.

    The only time I've ever filled up my boxes was in Pokemon Diamond and that's only because I completely my Pokedex on it and started going for a living Pokedex. I've never come even remotely close otherwise.

    They most certainly do not need the money. They don't take up a lot of space. We're looking at like... kilobytes of storage here

    Cash grab (even if just a small one).

    It's paid PokeCheck pretty much.

    I don't like that I have until the end of January to do any Pokemon transfers. :( I don't usually get to new Pokemon games right away
