Really into LEGO Star Wars III right now. I just love playing it and collecting things and getting more characters. Very interested in checking out the Batman one they just released. Other than that, playing some Fallout: New Vegas DLC content and gonna start Arkham City soon.
I finished Dust: An Elysian Tail a few hours ago. I can't say much about the game just yet, but our review should be up tomorrow, so just a little longer! I bought 3D Dot Game Heroes a week ago, and while it's okay... eh. I honestly don't like it that much; I actually think it's inferior to the first Zelda game, which is what it's sort of based off of in a sense. I was going to return it so I could instead get Metal Gear Solid 4, but the return window's already passed, so I'm stuck with it. A friend of mine lended me his copy of Soulcalibur V, and it's actually really fun. The story mode is pretty lackluster, but the game itself is good, though some aspects are a bit unbalanced. It's probably just the Assassin's Creed fan in me, but I absolutely adore playing as Ezio while listening to Jesper Kyd.
Wowee it's been a while since I updated this thread. (Two weeks is sometimes a long time in Erica's-gaming-list!time.) Kingdom Hearts 3D Um, I think I'm in The Grid now. I'm doing my Critical Mode run and holy crap it's hard. I've beaten BBS with relatively no problems at level 1 on CM but I had such a rough start with this one. I'm doing a lot better now but it was so hard to get started and now I'm kind of mad at the game. D: Shadow of the Colossus Just started this a few hours ago. The font is Papyrus. Papyrus. Thank god it's got little to no dialogue in it haha.
Played a ton of Soulcalibur last night. Even if it's missing the Missions Mode, the 360 version is still really fun. Right now I'm trying to get through Arcade Mode with each character; so far, I've done it with Lizardman, Inferno, and I think I may have with Siegfried. I've also been playing Call of Duty: Black Ops, mainly multiplayer. Can't wait for Black Ops II!
Since I've changed what I'm playing... I finished LEGO Star Wars III basically. Got a few more characters to unlock and the final gold build to make, but I don't think I'll bother with some of that stuff. Seems like fluff to extend the game, but I definitely want those final few characters. I also started, but haven't continued much of Arkham City. I'm not too motivated to play it, strangely. Probably because I've been sucked back into Minecraft. I've been playing a whole lot of that.
I'm kinda done with Pokemon Red Version. All I have left is to catch Mewtwo. Replaying Red version was an eye-opener for me. Many people consider Gen 1 to be the best generation and it really isn't. It's the most basic of the generations, the Psychic type is way overpowered, there's no descriptions for the attacks so you have no idea what they do (of course I did but if it's your first time playing then you don't. 'Would you like to teach Gengar substitute?' Idk what does it do???), and the attacks wrap, bind, fire spin, and clamp are broken. It's not a bad game, it's just not the best. Now I'm playing Pokemon Stadium with the team I used in Red version.
I took off on Kingdom Hearts 3D and I've got about two and a half worlds left. Hoping to finish it in the next few days. Kind of want to try The Last Story next but I have way too many JRPGs that I'm currently playing right now. >_>
I've mostly just been relaxing and playing Call of Duty: Black Ops and Soulcalibur. I want to play something deeper, but right now, I'm too busy getting college stuff sorted out.
Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone Got this as a gift during the Steam Sale. It's fun, although absurdly difficult in some places because of the way levels work. It's a grindy game trying not to be a grindy game and it's a bit frustrating. Fun (and adorable) though! Kingdom Hearts 3D yeah still on CM. Made it to the boss in The Grid with both characters and have had my ass handed to me repeatedly. Probably setting this down for a while.
I can't believe I'm saying this. I finally completed Pokemon Stadium. I've tried many times in the past to beat this ruthless game and now I've finally done it! And I never used Mewtwo!!! Now I'm going to play Pokemon G/S/C and Pokemon Stadium 2.
