omg my now playing list kind of exploded since I don't think my roommates were interested in watching me play the only console game I had going at the time, we started a co-op game or two, and I keep getting pressured into playing more and more. T_T;; Final Fantasy VI Decided it was high-time I finally see what all the hype is about. I'm really enjoying it. I don't know if I'll play it again after this but I can see why so many people hold it as their favourite Final Fantasy. Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 I uhh... had nearly beaten this game last time I played it. My roommate and I were about to start book 4 and then he accidentally deleted our save file instead of loading it or something haha. We'd done a lot of completion up to that point because we're both obsessive about that sort of thing so it was pretty devastating and we've only recovered from it now, about a year later. :P Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance YEAH STILL PLAYING THIS ONE. I managed to finish off The Grid with both characters in my crit run (FINALLY) so now I'm in Prankster's Paradise. Hopefully I won't get stuck on any more bosses but I'll probably get stuck with Sora again. *sigh* Shadow of the Colossus Lost my save file on this too when my PS3 died. I was on my fifth colossus when it died and that had taken me a few hours. I think I got back to that point in about 40 minutes when I started over. Fun game, immensely satisfying... but once you know the techniques and weak spots of each boss, it's reeeally easy so long as you can get the controls to work for you to get you there. Tales of Graces f Roommate really wanted to play so we started over. I told him he has to be first player until we catch up to the adult arc because I hate the child arc so much. We've only played once so far as a result, lmao.
I haven't been playing much since I started college. :( Here are some games I've played over the last few weeks, though. Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy - I decided to start a new file in the game without carrying over any data from the first game or Prologus. In the 012 story mode, I believe I just finished the part where you play as Vaan and rescue Terra. Final Fantasy X-2 - My roommate let me play this. I just got to the Zanarkand Ruins. Really liking the battle system, it's very fast-paced and kind of difficult. I absolutely hate the "platforming," though.
Continuing on with Tales of the Abyss 3D. It is taking forever. Lots of walking and cutscenes. Really not all that dungeon-oriented like other Tales games I've played. Every time I return it to it I'm hit with: Which is just exhausting XD Also working on a Metroid Prime 3: Corruption replay
I'm going to stop playing Pokemon Stadium 2...at least for now. I simply cannot beat Round 2 Little Cup using rentals. I make it to the final match and then get decimated. Every time. So now I'm going to play Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat.
I'm replaying Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in preparation for Assassin's Creed III. I just know I'm gonna hate the ending as much as I did a year and a half ago... I've also been playing the public Resident Evil 6 demo quite a bit. I really enjoy Leon's gameplay, though Chris' and Jake's seem a bit meh. I think I'll Redbox the game or something before I decide if I want to buy it or not.
Done with Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Surprsingly very fun. I can only imagine how bizarre the game must be when playing with the bongo peripheral. Too short though. Overall, it reminds me of Luigi's Mansion. Very fun, very different, and very short. I'm not going to go for a 100% completion. It's too hard. You have to get a certain amount bananas in each kingdom and getting hit in the boss fight makes you lose bananas. Not sure what I'm going to play next.
Kingdom Hearts I'm in Atlantica now...why the hell they placed two godawful worlds (Monstro and Atlantica) one right after the other, I don't know. And I really forgot how clunky a lot of the gameplay aspects were in this game - they really refined them a lot for later entries. New Super Mario Bros. Wii Ugh Mario. Ugh 2D platformers. I'm on World 3 right now - it's just a slog because I'm awful at platformers and die a lot, which makes me want to chuck my Wiimote out a window. Borderlands 2 Co-oping this with two other people. We're pretty much just doing random quests at this point.
So I decided to completely finish DK Jungle Beat afterall. Very fun but challenging as well. Now I'm playing GoldnenEye (N64).
No, not "ugh Mario". You mean "ugh NSMB". The NSMB games are such generic and boring crap. Play Super Mario World. Anyway, just finished up Tales of the Abyss. Next up I'm planning on playing... - Mass Effect 3 - The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (replay) - New Super Mario Bros. Wii (replay, because I want to play something on the Wii and that's all I can think of right now)
What you just said makes no sense. "The NSMB games are such generic and boring crap. I think I'm going to go play one."
