I know some of us can't live without rumble, and some can't stand it and disable it first thing when starting a game. So the question is, what do you think of rumble? Does it add to the experience, or just annoy you?
I've got so used to rumble in shooters that when I shoot and it doesn't rumble it feels weird and annoys me. I always have it on.
I tend to always keep rumble on when I play a game, as long as said game uses it well. Like Furret said, it just feels weird to turn it off after using it for so long, especially in shooters.
Love for most games but story driven games, like ill set it down on the table to watch the CS and BUZZ BUZZZZ BUZZZZZZZZZZZ in the middle of it cus something hit me or something blew up. SO ANGRY
I've never let go of the control while watching cutscenes. o.o *thinks* Probably because I haven't played much that were super long and didn't require a button press to continue
I guess you mean the controller 'vibrate' setting? :P (And somehow NOBODY who posted used the word 'vibrate' so far... Seriously, don't you guys call it that in other countries? ) I never really change the settings, I never really found rumble particularly annoying. In fact I quite like the effect, so if I were to turn it off I'd probably find it suddenly very awkward, lol.
I totally was around, but I didn't own one myself, no... :P I also know about the Rumble Pak but assumed after that everyone just called it 'vibrate'. But I feel like I'm making a huge deal out of nothing xD
Maybe Nintendo has trademark on "rumble" since they made the rumble pack? In the settings/options for lots of Nintendo games it says "Rumble: On/Off". Other systems say "vibrate" I guess
