    My best mate had his own flat for a while and it was pretty cool there even though the place was an absolute dump structurly. We had a pool table there, a few guitars, PS3 and a retro record player.

    See, I think a place like that would be pretty awesome. It's gotta be nice to have your own "man cave" or whatever you want to call it, since once you get married there's no way in hell your wife would ever allow something like that.

    I see no reason why not. I don't think I could ever commit to a marriage or even a relationship restrictive like that. :s I can understand space restraints (or... not wanting the place to be a total mess) but not being able to dedicate my own space to fandom/gaming/nerdy things? That would totally be a dealbreaker for me.

    I'd definitely want at least a room/basement/something where I could just get away and game or something. If she couldn't let me have just one room out of the whole house, she'd have to be one hell of a control freak.

    yeah some of my exes were pretty anti xbox, if i tried to game or whatever when they were staying for the week theyd go mental even though 90% of the time I'd be doing literally everything they wanted.

    Our apartment is really coming along. Though it's a smaller place, we're still getting things souped up. We've got posters from bands and Star Wars all over everywhere, and a really cool authentic tin Budweiser sign LOL. We're about to do some rearranging in one of the bedrooms dedicated for an epic 4 person gaming station. :O It'd gonna be dope.

    That sounds crazy sweet Mao, I'm considering speaking to some of my buds about renting a place together when we're done with uni, a gaming room is an absolute must if it happens!

    Do it. Rooming with your best friends is hard because you tend to fight a lot since you know each other so well, but it doesn't overcome all of the fun and good memories you make. :)

    I was considering asking a couple of buds who I guess I wouldnt call my best mates but people i know pretty well. I know for a fact I couldnt live with most of my best bros hahaha.
