Yeah, it sounds like it. :( "College" in Canada usually refers to post-secondary education that's more practical and hands-on. You won't usually get a bacheor's degree from it or something, but you can get certificates and diplomas for skilled worker jobs (electricians, etc.). University is the same as university there, I guess.
I was surprised when I started talking to English people online and found out that 'college' actually means the last two years of high school lol. Here we just it university or 'uni', but I think I like the American system better. College is just a nicer word XD
That's not strictly true, only technical colleges are purely practical, several colleges run many (if not exclusively) academic courses. College is far more specialised, in the sense that you take one - two disciplines as opposed to 3-4 A levels at sixth. College is also a lot more like "my first uni" than anything.
Well, you technically missed the first one since Konami did a pre-taped show the night before last. :P
...yeah, I already completely forgot about it and scheduled stuff on Monday night so now the only conference I have any chance of seeing live is Microsoft's and even then I'll probably miss it in favour of sleeping in and taking a shower. :P
Yeah, I slept through the beginning of both of them. :P I should've just shown up to class late on Tuesday after missing my bus instead of staying home and watching Nintendo's, though. It was not worth my time. :(
