I'm more excited about Vita than Wii U. I just know Nintendo's going to drop the ball, release it at a high price, and have hardly any games for a year or two after release. Vita's got a great price, really nice hardware, and once some games come out that I'm interested in, I'm sold.
vitas got me interedted too, mainly for PSN on the go and for uncharted. But no doubt there'll be a lot more gems.
I remember it mainly because it's the butt of a lot of jokes in my friendship group, mainly about the hideous controller.
I just think they are trying to hard to be new and innovative. Even though the Dreamcast had a screen in the controller, kinda. Haha. The Wii U is just another Nintendo product that I will ignore.
What really bothers me about Wii U isn't the controller - because I really think it has potential even if it's way effing huge. What worries me is that, if it's really around the same power as the 360/PS3, then what happens when their successors come out? You know it will happen in a few years at most, and then Nintendo is going to be a generation behind again.
They were near enough a gen behind spec wise this gen anyway hahahaha. Graphically though PS4 and the 360 succesor aren't going to be that much more impressive than they already are simply because there's no point. Most people are saying that it'll only go up to 1080p60 or something
I have no interest at all in the Wii U, I hardly ever touch anything for the Wii anyway and this just looks unnecessary.
tbh I barely notice a different between 1080 and 720 anyway. Anything higher than 1080p is just overkill for me.
Look at how underused the full potential and power of the PS3 currently is. I don't think the Wii U would be that far behind the next generation Microsoft and Xbox platforms because chances are the developers won't use them to their full potential. The jump from 720 to 1080 in resolution would not be as noticeable as say... 1080 to 4320, although unrealistic I think. Should there be a resolution in the near future in our televisions 2160 would be more likely.
