It's already been confirmed that X is going to be shown off, and I'm really excited to see more of that. Xenoblade is phenomenal and I'm looking forward to seeing what Monolith puts out for Wii U.

Also hoping to see Retro's new project. Not buying the rumors of a new StarTropics being that project, but I'd like to see something different from them - either a new IP or a revival of an old one.

We haven't had a new Star Fox or F-Zero in years, and sadly, I don't think we'll see one this year either. I'd love to see a new Metroid (as long as it's more like Prime and less like Other M) but I think that's out of the question too. Nintendo seems to have laid those three franchises to rest for the foreseeable future.

    Wait, where'd they say they'll be showing X? I must've missed that.

Also, any new Metroid game should be more like Super or Fusion, kthx. All we've had since 2004 (Sans Other M) is Prime. It's time for them to show what happens later in the story, and I can't see Retro doing a sequel to Fusion in terms of story.

Although, I wouldn't be opposed to them pulling a Prime/Fusion and having two new games release around the same time. One closer to the Prime series, the other to traditional Metroid.

StarTropics? Would never have even though to anticipate that. That would have come out of nowhere XD Let's have a For the Frog the Bell Tolls revival then. ...NIntendo has such a large untapped back catalog of stuff that I'd like to see them use. Doesn't even need to be big games. They've got the eShop. Make some modern sequels.

I wouldn't mind a Prime/Fusion-like dual released. I really love both styles of gameplay in that series. Other M was horrible disappointment.

F-Zero, Star Fox, Metroid... it's like Nintendo got tired of their space games.

Pretty sure the creator (or someone related to him) tweeted that it would be shown off during the Direct. Saw something about it on GAF a week or two ago.

Oh yeah, duh. I remember now. So that's X, Super Smash Bros., Super Mario. U, Mario Kart U, and The Wind Waker HD at the every least on Tuesday, I think.

"X" is either "X", an old Japanese-only Game Boy game that was the precursor to Star Fox, or more likely Monolith's Project X - which is supposedly the next entry in the Xeno series.

I can't believe that the PS4 is $50 more than the Wii U. The Wii U absolutely needs a price drop. I think it needs to be $249 or $299.
