Because I have no interest in buying a watered down (ie no multiplayer) version of Tales of the Abyss and if I buy it again, I want it to be a Japanese version for the voiced skits. I always import Kingdom Hearts and... the rest would probably just be me justifying the console, haha.
Or you could just not buy ToA again, wait a few months for a NA release of KH, and just get an English 3DS and not have to "get by" with Japanese. XD
Well, I said "get by" but I actually have almost no problems with most games I've played in Japanese. I was already considerring importing ToA before they announced the 3DS version. And there's no way I can wait for KH games in English nowadays. :p
With the price drop, I'll trade in my DSi and my Lite for one come the 12th. In black obviously- it's sleek and sexy. Now as for games, I may go buy Ocarina just for nostalgia. XD
I definitely wasn't going to get one around launch time. The new price drop makes it a little bit more reasonable but I doubt I'll give one still. I would want a Pokemon or Dragonball Z game to come out before I considered it.
I briefly mulled over getting one after the price drop, but without a single game out that I'm interested in it's not worth it. I'll just wait for a limited color to be released that interests me (yes, that is of equal importance to actually having games out that I'm interested in, hah.) Maybe I'll import a Japanese one instead so that I can play Senran Kagura~
Same here. I haven't bought a handheld for a long time, but once these games come out I'll consider the 3DS.
And yet, now I have one XD I wasn't very far-thinking when I wrote that. Regardless, those games should be out by year's end (maybe not Paper Mario). So, unless you're waiting for new colours or a Lite version, I'd say pick up a 3DS now. Go online and into the shop so you're system is registered and able to get the free Ambassador content. Then once the price drop takes effect, use the price gaurantee or the store you purchased from and get some money back. Even easier, go to somewhere like Costco which already has the price drop in effect. In short, lower price plus $20 free games plus the games you're interested in by the end of the year
Yeah I just saw in the Future Shop flyer that the price has dropped down to $170 I believe it was. Lower price, free games and the games I'm looking forward to coming soon means I'll probably pick it up soon. I really look forward to the Paper Mario game, I absolutely love that game, do you know when it comes out?
