rofl So, from what I remember reading the 3DS is one pace with (or I think may even surpassing?) the DS' sales from the same timespan after its launch. Why is Nintendo and the 3DS getting such a "fail" rep on Interwebz, with most of the commentary saying that it isn't selling. ...I mean besides that are a lot of stupid people out there XD
There is no other reason. People said the DS was going to be the demise of Nintendo; not true. Then they said the Wii was going to be a flop; definitely not true. Then people said the 3DS spelled doom for Nintendo; nope. Now they're saying the Wii U won't sell well. I think it's safe to say otherwise.
PS2 was the same way with the PS3, wasn't it? I imagine it won't change until they pull the plug on the PSP and encourage developers to stop making games for it. Because they're still announcing new PSP titles even now. :(
They are? Last I checked, PSP had been dead for like a year. :/ Still pissed that we're not getting Type-0, especially since people who've imported it say it's a great game.
Maybe over here, but from what I gather, it's still selling alright in Japan. It's not too surprising, if you ask me. I'm sure Square knows that Type-0 is a gem that a lot of westerners would love to have. I doubt they still plan on releasing it for PSP, but a Vita or 3DS port isn't out of the question, I would think. I mean, if they're willing to remake a Kingdom Hearts cell phone game, surely they're willing to remake Type-0. :P
Yeah, it still gets new game announcements (for franchises that aren't really small--a Digimon RPG based on the first season was announced the other day
I don't see them re-releasing Type-0. It's still relatively soon after release. And since PSP is a dead platform here, I think we've just missed our chance with that game.
