Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2

    I'm thinking because the DS is practically dead at this point, and if they wait until next year the 3DS will really be in its prime and DS will be totally dead. Plus...Pokemon game at the holidays = $$$$$$$$$.

    This year should be a good year for the 3DS. I'd take this game on the 3DS even if the only difference was screen resolution and that it was in 3D.

    That's why I said that they're on borrowed time with the DS. 3DS is really going to come into its own in 2012, and if they released B2W2 next year, DS would be long-dead.

    Here's the first trailer for Black 2 and White 2.



    I'm very excited for this game. Like the new content, can't wait to see more, but having old Pokemon in the new Unova Dex and half the region being frozen aren't selling points for me. I liked how in Black and White every Pokemon you met during the main story was new and having old, frankly better ones now takes that away. With the region, it appears like there will be less to explore despite the new towns since half the region is frozen. Maybe you can travel to frozen areas which would be cool but I don't think that will happen.

    GUYS THE NEW FEMALE TRAINER IS SO ADORABLE I CAN'T EVEN

    seriously, she's so, SO cute. The guy is kind of derp and his hair is just like he was having a bad hair day and went "CAN'T GET ANY WORSE" and just pushed it all back with an ugly headband but... the girl. So cute. Awww.

    I'm not too interested in the game except to start drawing fanart of her with my team. n_n

    Are we even sure the region is actually frozen, or is it their "clever" way of hiding things they don't want us to see?
    But yay, old Pokemon. Not too keen on the whole "Beat 8 gyms" thing again - I was hoping we'd actually get a bit more emphasis on plot since this is a direct sequel.

    The female trainer looks like Princess Leia :p

    And the male character looks a lot like the Hilbert from the original Black and White. See for yourself...

    I think it's pretty common in hiking outfits.

    The girl looks a lot like Hilda/whatever-her-name-is. My working head-canon right now is that they're the younger siblings of them, no matter how illogical that turns out to be. :D

    I like that idea. (siblings, not hiking leggins)

    Makes more sense than them being the same character since they'd be picking starter Pokemon again
