    I really freaking hate all the people who were complaining on Twitter/tumblr about how the movie was "ruined" by casting Rue as a black girl. :( It makes me lose faith in humanity.

    edit: omg these smilies are still just as hideous as ever. ;_;

    Funny thing is, Suzanne Collins herself said that Rue was dark skinned before the movie came out.

    I guess some people just thought they meant she really was darker-skinned, just not in THAT way. Like, she had a tan or something. Either way, it didn't change anything about her character, so I don't see the problem.

    I'm definitely getting it, but not at first; don't have the money for it. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie again, though.

    I wanna see the movie pretty bad, but I gotta wait for my girlfriend first. Maybe we'll run to RedBox this weekend and pick it up.

    I... probably won't. Not right away, anyway, but I would like to own it eventually. Maybe once some sort of collector's edition comes out, even if that's once the trilogy is complete. :3 I'm more interested in potential special features than seeing the movie itself since I already saw it two or three times in theatre.

    I'd feel kind of weird at a midnight launch for the DVD. I'm just barely in the target audience, if I am at all. I'd probably show up and be just itching to leave asap. :P
