That's my favourite too! For the longest time I didn't really like Finding Nemo that much. I thought it was boring. I guess it just wasn't really what I was looking for when I first saw it. Never really appreciated it until a few years ago when I rewatched it. Very heart-felt wonderful movie
I haven't watched it in a few years, so maybe a rewatch is in order soon. Maybe I'll appreciate it more.
Too gory and all of the characters annoyed me greatly. :P Movies (especially apocalypse movies) aren't very good to me when I'm rooting for literally everyone to die. Saw Ratatouille in theatres and haven't seen it since. It didn't really resonate with me at all. I think I doubly appreciate Nemo because fish are my favourite animals. Brave is my second favourite so I think my faves are just unconventional when it comes to PIxar.
I don't think Nemo's that unconventional. I think it was a turning point for Pixar and the start of the Pixar we're most familiar with today. Their lineup prior to that at the time were seen as "Disney movies", after that Pixar and that moved help cement the level of quality associated with Pixar. How was it in 3D by the way? It seems like it would be fun :B All the underwater stuff and effects and things floating around
It was excellent. A lot of it wasn't noticeable (which is typically how I like it, in that the effects aren't distracting or overwhelming or tacky) but a few times when I was adjusting the glasses (because they are kids' glasses and don't fit 100% well XD) I'd notice there were barely any effects on screen at all and it looked like a normal movie. :s But honestly, I think it was worth going to even without the 3D. It was fun being in a theatre so excited for it. I went to a 7:50 show but there were still a lot of younger kids and they were surprisingly well behaved but just the atmosphere of the theatre--and getting to see it again on the big screen-was amazing.
I like it that way too. Just... increased of depth. But.. I don't know, kind of expecting the EAC scene to be like a roller coaster in 3D XD
Last night, my roomates and I watched Visioneers on Netflix. It's a Zac Galajndgfkjasdgnda movie and it was f*cking hilarious.
