I would say it's a good film but not a great one. I do wish there was more Godzilla in it though. It felt like a film with Godzilla as opposed to a film starring Godzilla, which I think would've been better.
I saw Transcendence on Friday. It was... something. I kind of enjoyed it, as ridiculous as the story was.
1998 - Movie named 'Godzilla', but the creature is only mistaken to be Godzilla 2014 - Movie named 'Godzilla', but the movie isn't about Godzilla although he's in it I dunno why American filmakers keep doing this lol
I saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes yesterday. I enjoyed it. It was kind of fascinating from a talking monkey stand point. Just a good piece of science fiction
I've seen 4 movies so far this summer: Godzilla, Chef, Edge of Tomorrow, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (in addition to Rise at home). Dawn was phenomonal. I highly recommend it. The other 3 films were good but not great.
Yeah, that was my most recent watch. It was a good film, I kinda like the whole Planet of the Apes series purely because they're not quite willing to give a straight up happy ending and that leaves you guessing for a while. Spoiler When they killed Caesar off I was convinced they'd done it for real, whereas other films might not have had me so convinced. This particular film was pretty happy and satisfying in the end, considering what they can be like. 8D
We did see Cap 2 this year, yes. But I was talking about summer movies. Cap 2 was released on April 4. That's not summer.
We waited a long time though. I'm going to say we saw it late April or early May, which is basically fake summer in Canada.
