It's not so much the lack of thrill rides- I'd take fun over crazy/big things anyway. Maybe I'm just too old, but I really don't have the desire to go meet Mickey Mouse or see the seven dwarfs, and the things I've seen of it don't instill any desire to brave the insane crowds, hordes of screaming bratty children, and ridiculous expense of going there. And the attractions that they do have don't look at all worth waiting 2-3 or more hours in line doing nothing just to experience them. I feel like I can go somewhere else and have the same amount of, or even more fun, for half the cost and not have to deal with all the other crap.

Maybe it's just because I never went to Disney as a child, but it just doesn't look appealing at all to me as an adult.

then don't see Mickey. they tore down his house recently, you really have to go out of your way to find him (usually a parade or character breakfast)

And crowds and children... come with me lol I'll show you how to do this properly. It's a science. Or an art. FastPass is amazing. Even moreso now because I can pick exact time before hand online. Skip the lines. I went to Disneyland on their busiest day of the year and I saw everything with minimal lines. There were lines and massive crowds, I just wasn't in them ;)

More or less the plot of Who Framed Roger Rabbit happened and they closed Toon Town. Fantasyland expanded into it and ate the area.

Only at DisneyWorld though. DisneyLand still has good ol' Mickey's house!

I love amusement parks! I'm a huge adrenaline junkie and coaster fan. I have one park that's close-ish to me. I live in the northwest region of the US, so amusement parks are hard to come by. Luckily, this one is thriving and has three big coasters. The biggest being an inverted shuttle coaster with six inversions. Of course, that's my favorite one. That, and the bigger of the two wooden coasters they have there. In case you're interested, Aftershock is the name of the inverted shuttle, and Tremors is the name of the bigger wooden coaster.

Hello, Derk here! I am employed by Universal theme parks and I frequent there and SeaWorld Parks on occasion.

Gotta say though..working there is kind of a lot different than actually going there as a guest. @_@ It's fun and exciting as a guest but you end up hating the place once it's a work day, haha.

Truth be told though, I've really wanted to go to Disney, since I haven't really been there since I was really young. ._.

I've always wondered what working for an amusement park would be like. I would probably want to be one of the people manning one of the roller coasters. I was watching a documentary on roller coasters and the guy who operates Millineum Force gets to ride it every morning to listen for anything that doesn't sound right. I know that might not be the case for every coaster, but I love roller coasters, so I think I would enjoy it.

I actually let my Busch Gardens pass expire last week and I'm not sure I'm going to renew it. Most of the friends that I've usually gone with are either busy this summer or have moved away, and going alone is no fun, so I think I might just let it lapse for the year and then maybe get another pass next year.

I was at Wonderland over the weekend. I haven't been there, I dunno, six or seven years? o.o The opportunity just never came up, despite living so close.

I rode all the coasters but Flight Deck (formerly Top Gun) because I don't like my legs to be dangling and Time Warp (formerly Tomb Raider) because lying down seems like it would uncomfortable.

Crowds weren't so bad. Lineups were really small. Taking up a portion of the main queue only. Never go close to using the extended queues. And on the long lines, it was still fast moving I guess because the two big coasters - Behemoth and Leviathan - just eat up so many people in one go. They're efficient.

No lines at all for the old wooden coasters. Which is a shame. I love the Mighty Canadian Minebuster. Wild Beast... hurt. I don't recall that being some ongodly rough.

Been wanting to try both those monster coasters for awhile. And now I have. They were good. It's just... I rode coasters all day. And they all blend together. Nothing stands out. A coaster's a coaster. You go up, you go down, you turn, you go fast. I can't say one's better than any other. They're all the same really. Good temporary fun as a shot of adrenaline, but nothing lasting and memorable. (And so that is why I am forever a Disney Parks fan :P)

I rode their new ride. "Wonder Mountain's Gaurdian". That was horrible. Super boring. Super short. Super ineffecive. Visuals were blurry. Couldn't hear anything. Just not fun at all. And they had signs up in the queue boasting how much money they spent on it. It was so not worth that staggering amount of money ($10million+). One of the worst things I've ridden anywhere
